💡 DUO for a JOB in a nutshell...
DUO for a JOB connects young people with a migration background (mentees) with people aged 50+ (mentors). For six months, the mentor voluntarily supports the young person in their search for a job or training opportunity. Why? To strengthen young people’s position in the labour market, make better use of the experience of people over 50, and challenge prejudice.
The organization brings together more than 100 staff members (in the Netherlands, Belgium and France), 150 volunteers and over 1,800 mentors. In Rotterdam, we started in 2021 and work from the city centre with a small and friendly team. Soon, we hope to welcome a new Mentoring Program Officer to join us!
