Sharda and Nandini's duo journey wasn't just laughing, screaming, roaring. Something the two ladies were only too happy to do together, but they certainly also worked very hard. Nandini came to the Netherlands from India in 2021. With a bachelor of Economics and a lot of ambition in her pocket, she was determined to find work in administration or finance as quickly as possible. We paired her with mentor Sharda. They immediately got off to a good start and this quickly earned Nandini an administrative position at Boskalis!
Nandini's new job was no reason to stop meeting with her mentor. On the weekends, their appointments at the Ikea restaurant continued as usual. While enjoying the necessary cups of coffee, they could chat with each other for hours.
“I've learned a lot from Sharda, both personally and professionally. I've learned to stand up for myself. We worked on my communication skills, she helped me with my diploma evaluation, resume, driving license theory test, Dutch language course and we practiced job interviews. We always laugh a lot together, I'm always excited to meet her”.
