Amani joined DUO for a JOB with a clear goal: to get an education that matches her skills and interests. Together with her mentor Lieke, she is enthusiastically going to work on her future plan.
Based on her skills and interests, they choose the Finance & Control course at The Hague University. But before Amani can enroll in the course, she still has to overcome a lot of personal and administrative obstacles.
She won't let herself be fooled and Amani eventually manages to get admitted to her dream course. Amani is thrilled: her future in the Netherlands can finally really begin! She is very grateful to her mentor:
“Lieke showed me that there were several ways to achieve my goal. That meant that I had much less stress”.
