  • Our impact

DUO for a JOB’s impact can be measured on three levels: the young people we support, the mentors we train and the creation of the social bonds we foster.

Thanks to the personalised support of a mentor, a majority of young people have easier access to the job market. Thanks to mentoring, they develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives: autonomy, self-confidence, knowledge of the resources and channels needed to look for work, etc.

Mentors find real satisfaction in developing new skills and in volunteering in active citizenship. Being able to pass on their knowledge allows them to feel useful and to live an enriching adventure.

    And what else?

Openness, trust, respect, generosity, tolerance, discovery of another culture. These are values that bring our mentors and mentees together. They can share these in helping the seeds of “social cohesion” take root throughout The Netherlands!
